When you're used to seeing something in a particular avatar, seeing it in a different form can be unsettling. I have no particular fondness or otherwise for the anime creature Pikachu; but apparently, there are many who do! When someone created a Pikachu out of butter, they weren’t best pleased.
It was yellow but it was made from butter, the eyes were crafted out of olives and it was apparently all rather disturbing.
A Pikachu made from butter? Delish! Thought a lot of people.
This tweet seems to suggest that this is common Turkish practice. Making things out of butter!
Including Pikachu, apparently!
The eyes are slices of olive, the ‘cheeks’ are some sort of salami… and whatever the rest is; its all pretty dire!
Lunch can take different forms but that is just plain scary! Lunch shouldn’t give us nightmares!
Someone thought that it was the eyes that were creeping people out… but apparently, it was everything!

Pikachu may be upset but this is legit in Istanbul at a place called Istiklal Street. Apparently, there is a particular baked potato dish – kumpir – which comes along with butter that comes in various shapes. So this was just some baker of potatoes getting a little artistic it would seem.
