For Marvel fans, there can be nothing more exciting than a new release. And if it is on a streaming platform where they can watch it at once – no waiting for tickets, even better! Many fans would contend that watching a new release in the theatre with other fans is an experience like no other but never mind that. So, the Loki the series dropped on Wednesday 9 June and fans that had been waiting with bated breath got to watch the first episode (no binge-watching in the MCU?).
Tom Hiddleston is Loki and the series is set after Avengers: Endgame. In the series, a different version of Loki (God of Mischief and brother of Thor) is brought to the TVA (Time Variance Authority). Loki is identified as a ‘time variant’ and is offered two choices: to be erased from existence or to help fix the timeline and stop a greater threat. So we have Loki travelling through time and altering history.
They had been looking forward to the series and it was #LokiWednesdays are finally here!
Marvel seems to be able to consistently give audiences what they desire. Viewers have described the series as off-kilter, charming, and vaguely dangerous.
He is part villain, part jokester, part human, part god --- a complex but entertaining character.
MCU characters are always layered with their complexes and emotional issues… one of the things that keep viewers hooked.
In each of the recent MCU series – Wanda Vision, Falcon & Winter Soldier have concentrated upon the inner landscape of the characters.
And they agree with him.
But then we all knew that it was going to be about the tesseract.
Apparently, the infinity stones are not being treated with the respect they deserve.
We see a human side of Loki and the fact that he wants to return to his family but can’t.

It was an emotionally satisfying premiere episode of Loki, say fans.
Each new series is well worth the watch, feel MCU fans.

Yes, this is an issue – MCU will make viewers wait for the next episode of Loki till they stream it on 16 June on Disney+ Hotstar. Clearly, they enjoy making people wait; whetting their appetites.
