Now with the temperatures becoming milder and the heat less severe, we can all head out for some outdoor events in the UAE. Here are some events that will interest you – live shows, parties, family activities, wellness initiatives and more coming up in Dubai or Abu Dhabi this October:
This hour long piece features a sound and visual art performance by Pierto Marullo and the Inslemi Irreali Dance Company. You can catch in on the 1st of October at Concrete, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai.
Al Jalila Foundation along with Ignite Fitness and Wellness will be organising this event at Anantara The Palm, Dubai Resort. As part of the events for October, (which is Breast Cancer Awareness month), this will be a run and swim event for promoting awareness. 8th October will feature a yoga event with Stephanie. All the proceeds go to charity.
This event started in the end of September but goes on till 5 October 2019. It features five short films and six feature films from across the Arab world. Apart from the screenings, there will also be a Director's Q&A after the screenings. The venue is Alserkal Avenuel’s Cinema Akil.
This event from the W Hotel is a music festival at the W Dubai, The Palm. RÜFÜS DU SOL, Rita Ora, and Disclosure headline in the event that takes place from 10 to 12 October.
Probably the world’s best known rapper is coming to Abu Dhabi and peforming at Yas Island on 25th of October. This forms a part of his Kamakaze World Tour.
This event will be at the Yas Marina on 11th and 12th of October. The first day will be an adults-only event with games, dance, outdoor bars and more. On 12th there is more family-friendly fun.
The American-South African standup and late show host Trevor Noah will perform live at Yas Island’s Du Forum as part of his Loud and Clear tour. Those in Abu Dhabi can enjoy his brand of humour which makes you think while it makes you laugh on 25th and 26th October.
This year the Party in the Park is happening at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre with Fatboy Slim, The Kooks and Richard Ashcroft performing on 31 October and 1 November.
