I could just say Housefull is a Sajid Khan film and you would know what to expect: the hamming, silly, implausible stories, unimaginative characterizations and crass stereotyping that we have come to expect from the man. However after foisting Housefull and Housefull 2 upon the movie viewers of India, we are now to have a third edition… so rejoice (or take cover) Housefull 3 is coming! This one is not directed by Sajid Khan but appears to offer more of the same drivel as was dished up earlier. Here’s what to expect (or avoid); scroll to the bottom for the Housefull 3 trailer as well:
The usual suspects
Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh were in the first two movies and will be seen again in Housefull 3.
More usual suspects
We will again see the redoubtable Boman Irani as Batuk Patel in part three as well.
Remember Chunkey Pandey as Aakhri Pasta in part one and two? Well the cringe worthy Aakhri Pasta will be back in part 3 as well.
Jaqueline Fernandez is back in part three as well.

The third film of the Housefull series will be directed by Sajid-Farhad (another Sajid, not the Khan) and will also have actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri.
Disjointed, unbelievable, silly story
We Indians love a bit of silly nonsense don’t we; the sort of movie that requires us to perform the anatomically impossible feat of leaving our brains behind at home? So head’s up: there is thrice the torture coming soon to a theatre near you!
Women as bimbos and men as brainless dolts
The women are there mainly for decorative purposes and sexist gags, while the men make silly, juvenile, slapstick jokes. Well, here’s more brain dead ‘humour’ for you!
Sanskari v/s non-sanskari
Women who dress daringly and party are of course not sanskari at all! And the non-sanskari girls taking their gullible dad for a ride? Fun, fun, fun!
Single dimensional characters
So one of the guys has a split personality, another says the wrong things and the third apparently is a complete idiot…. There you have it: the characters in a (very tiny) nutshell.
