The Indian film Industry is one of the largest film industries in the world and has created some of impeccable world records as well. Here are some of these world records that we had never known about.
The Kapoor family is possibly the largest film family ever known! Starting from Prithviraaj Kapoor, 24 members of this family have served the Indian Film Industry, the highest so far!
He had recorded a total of 24 songs in a single day, the highest so far thereby creating a world record. No singer has recorded as many as 24 songs in a single day!
The movie created a sensation when it was released. Hence, there's no doubt that it had received as many as 92 awards, the highest for any movie!
She has been the one of the longest serving actors in the world. She has served the Indian film industry for a good 70 years!
The cult classic, Yaadein featuring Sunil Dutt in the lead role had only him in the entire movie. The movie had no other actors in it. Just towards the end of the movie, there would be a silhouette of another actor. This went into the record books as the film with fewest actors.
He is one of the Guinness World Record Holder from the film fraternity. Having written a total of 3,524 different songs as of 15 December, 2015, he is the most prolific lyricist of Bollywood. He has written popular songs like Jab Se Tere Naina (Saawariya), Tum Paas Aaye (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) and Nazar Ke Saamne (Aashiqui).
Asha Bhosle has recorded about 11000 solos, duets and chorus backed songs and several others in over twenty different Indian languages since 1947. Hence, she has set a world record for being the most recorded artist in the music history.
