Do You Know Who Your Mother Wanted To Be, When She Grew Up?

She is the first person we all love! She is our first experience of unconditional. But before we came along she was her own person, with her own dreams and aspirations. In India the primary care giver’s role always falls on the mother. It’s a given that she will give up her career, or her education, or her dreams of being someone, for the sake of the children and the family.

Suddenly the individual disappears and becomes Vijay’s, Rani’s, Sunny’s or Aftab’s mother. She also does whatever is demanded of her in order to excel in this role. And when these kids are all grown up, do Moms get a second chance at their dreams?

Amazon’s #MomBeAGirl initiative says, “Why not?”, and we are totally digging this concept. Let’s find out who our Moms wanted to be when they grew up and let’s help them achieve it, now that we are grown up. What say?
