After all of the speculation and the will-they-won’t-they gossip, it is now confirmed that Bollywood’s hottest couple is going to tie the knot. Here is what we know about the wedding, the sangeet, the designer, location of the wedding and the honeymoon. There was an official announcement from Deepika Padukone's Instagram about her upcoming wedding with Ranveer Singh:
This was the official announcement made via Deepika Padukone’s verified Instagram page. It announced that the wedding would take place on 14th and 15th November 2018 and sought everyone's blessings for the new journey the two would embark upon.
The two actors who had repeatedly been paired together for their smoking hot on-screen chemistry were linked together for a long time in reality as well. So it was true love all the time, it would seem!
So here are the details of the wedding according to reports: the sangeet will be on the 14th followed by the wedding on the 15th. This will be followed by two receptions; one in Mumbai and the other in Bangalore. The wedding will be in Italy at Lake Como and only close friends and relatives are likely to be invited to the event.
We don’t know much about the honeymoon yet. One tweet joked about the couple arguing about booking the honeymoon through goibibo.com or through makemytrip.com. Many people are really interested in knowing what will happen to the couple's endorsements; often competing ones.
After many months of speculation and much wishful thinking on part of fans who wanted to see their icons united in wedlock, the wishes of many seem to have come true.
