Chulbul is back says the trailer – he is indeed; for the third time with Dabangg 3. Salman Khan is back with the much-beloved formula of the ‘Gunda-Police-Wala’. Check out the much-awaited official trailer of Dabangg 3 and the memes that it inspired.
The trailer promises the back story of the Robin Hood-esque character. It has lots of fights; it is all about the style and snappy lines from Salman. There areas some characteristic funny moments and the inevitable shirtless scene. Maza aya asks Chulbul in the end; having decided that the answer from his adoring fans will be in the affirmative.
Needless to say, the essential Salman fan is ecstatic with the trailer.
The trailer quickly became the #1 top trending YouTube video.
This is a Salman Khan film – res ipsa loquitor (the thing speaks for itself).
This film promises to summarily dismiss trifles such as logic and scientific rules as unnecessary to the story.
When Bhai flexes his muscles and throws around his trademark lines, a coherent plot and plausible story are deemed superfluous.
Famous Kannada actor Sudeep or Kichcha Sudeep plays the negative character in the film.
Sudeep’s fans are pumped to see him in the trailer as well.
Of course there were those who thought very little of the trailer; probably because the crooked cop with a heart of gold is a done to death formula and because Salman-being-Salman in every film is wearing a little thin.

Khan has sported a paste-on moustache in each of the Dabangg films; never bothered to actually grow one. This signature move perhaps owes itself to this fact.
