Varun and Alia are having a great time in Singapore shooting for the upcoming movie, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya' which is the second edition of Dharma production's Dulhaniya franchise. Both of them look really adorable in the first look of the film. Take a look.
The prequel of Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya was entirely shot in India, the production house planned to shoot a schedule of the second edition in Singapore. Varun and Alia are having a lot of fun time in Singapore working on this film
Varun and Alia have made their entry in the tinsel town together in Karan Johar's 'Student of the year". Lately, they have also celebrated 4 years of their first film releasing a small cute video on their social media accounts wherein they thanked Karan for having them in the film.
Varun and Alia released these photographs on their social media accounts recently. The producer took to Twitter to share the first look and wrote, “First look!!!!! #BadrinathKiDulhania @Varun_dvn and @aliaa08 taking the. #humptysharmakidulhania franchise forward!!!”
However, the fun didn’t end there. Alia and Varun also took a segway to the streets of Singapore and shared the images on Twitter. Alia also posted about the shooting schedule. “Singapore madness continues and we are ALWAYS posing awayyyy!!!! #BadrinathKiDulhania"
While Varun is assuming the role of a boy from Jhansi named,Badrinath, Alia plays the role of Vaidehi. The movie is a Bollywood-type love story with unexpected twists and turns!

While talking about the film, Varun said “Badrinath Ki Dulhania is not a sequel but a second installment. It’s about Badrinath from Jhansi and what happens in his world. It’s a bit more grown up than HSKD. It gets dark with twists and turns, which people won’t expect in a Dharma movie. Director Shashank Khaitan is from the theater. So he insisted on rehearsals and workshops for Alia Bhatt and me.”
One of the most awaited love stories, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya is scheduled to release on March 10 next year!
