You can either love the movie or hate the movie, there is no third option for these emotions. However, there are some acts or points in the movie which will not allow you to love the movie completely and those points are 'unexpected twists'. Tanu (Kangana) sends Manu (her husband) to a mental asylum and comes back to her hometown. The actress is seen flirting with her ex-boyfriend and roaming around the city impressing another guy. Being sick of her attitude, Manu decides to get married to another girl, Datto and this was the time when Kangana gets jealous. They somehow managed to get together once again! Wasn't Datto so much better than Tanu?
Some or the other way, Charlie (Shahrukh Khan) insults Mohini (Deepika Padukone) by calling hera cheap girl because she dances in a club. She is insulted every time by Charlie and sometimes is even called as a prostitute. But at the end, Mohini gets hitched to Charlie just because he speaks good English. Seriously?
While the entire movie was confusing, in the end, the guy gets hitched to the wrong girl. Sushant ran away from his wedding with Vaani in the same way how Parineeti ran from her wedding with Sushant. Sushant then tries to go back to Vaani but realizes that he loves Gayatri (Parineeti ) more than Vaani. In the end, nobody marries at all and the audience is left confused. Sushant sould have married Vaani rather than being in relationship with Gayatri (Parineeti).
In this movie, when Saif learned that his girlfriend, Preity is pregnant, he asks her to get an abortion. However, after she refuses to get an abortion, he breakups with her. Both of them stay in the same house but Saif never bothers to help Preity during her pregnancy. He learns a lesson and understands her struggle towards the end of the movie.
After being forcibly married, Vanraaj (Ajay Devgn) realizes that Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) does not loves him. He later finds out Sameer is Nandini's love interest and decides to reunite them. He fights with his family and takes Nandini to Sameer (Salman Khan). Now Nandini suddenly realizes that it was Ajay's (Vanraaj) love which she was loving and not Sameer. Nandini decides to stay with to Vanraaj. But poor Vanraaj ended up with the wrong girl.
Kundan (Dhanush) is aware of how much Bindiya (Swara Bhaskar ) likes him, but turns a blind eye towards her, the same way Zoya (Sonam Kapoor ) does to him. Kundan would have been alive if he would have got married to Bindiya instead of choosing Zoya as his life partner.
Cocktail is a movie which I loved but hated for few reasons. Meera, the religious girl decides to choose Gautam (Saif Ali Khan) as her life partner by ditching her best friend, Veronica (Deepika). Veronica is the girl who sleeps with thousands of guys and hence Gautam chooses her to fool around with, but Meera to be his serious love interest. Frankly, Gautam was a pathetic man who fooled around with both the girls and hence he deserves to be ditched by both the girls.
Mujhse Dosti Karoge is a pathetic movie where lead actors chat with each other for 15 years without revealing their real identity. At first, Hrithik chooses Kareena as his life partner but when he realizes that it was not Kareena but Rani who used to write to him for the last 15 years, h eleaves Kareena and goes to Rani. Pathetic, isn't?
