#Azaadi70Saal this time is going to be a mega and grand affair with the theme being “Bharat Parv”. The celebrations marking our Independence Day will include a six day long festival at India Gate, New Delhi from 12-17 August.
The focus of #BharatParv is to honour the martyrs and bring the feeling of patriotism and pride to our citizens that has sadly become limited to our soliders. It’s time we remember the sacrifice that has made for the freedom we have today. Different messages from the government bring together this theme of #BharatParv.

India's independence was very hard fought and won, after sacrificing an entire generation. What we have done to honour their sacrifice and what we must change in ourselves for the future, is what the 70th Independence Day should be about. The government is using social media very effectively to remind us of who we are and how we came to be. It is for us to decide how we will move forward.
