Sometimes I come across a video that makes me anxious while also making me feel admiration at the same time. This video of a car making an impossible U-turn on an impossibly narrow hilly road is one such. It made me wince, it made me gasp and finally, it made me feel a gush of relief. Take a look:
As I said this video filled me with equal parts anxiety – because this is a very narrow road and a sheer drop – and admiration – because confidence!
This video was also shared via Raveena Tandon and when a celebrity handle shares it, even more people take notice.
Great driving skill but how foolhardy!
Why not reverse all the way or go ahead and try to turn in a less risky manner?
I was holding my breath as well, at some points in the video.
Loosely translated, this means if you're scared you die – and this surely is a test of nerve. If this person had lost their nerve they would likely have plummeted to their death.
Some just thought the video was really, really cool!
Which car and model is the car? Seems roadworthy!
Some thought the video was fake, created just to grab eyeballs and hopefully go viral.
Sometimes the car isn't so lucky.
Some just have very poor ‘parking’ skills.
This gives a bit more perspective – but it is still not clear why the person did not just reverse down that slope. This is still a very anxiety-inducing video!
