Moving overseas is always full of excitement. After all it promises better education, improved lifestyle and more money. But in all the pomp and show the real scene gets missed. So, if you are moving overseas whether for education or job, you definitely need to keep these things in mind.

Wrong place, maybe

Reel is not real Wrong place, maybe

If you are one of those, who are glamorized by watching romantic scenes of Paris, then it is time to come to the real world. As movies only show half-truth. Settling abroad is no less than winning a war. It is demanding, and you don’t get what you had imagined. Better, you watch, Gulliver Travels, you’ll know the pain of moving to the other land.

Im tired lifting these bags

No extra baggage I’m tired lifting these bags

If somehow you manage to go out, then my pals please avoid unneeded things. Throw them, destroy them, but don’t think to keep the extra baggage with you. Go for a month or for your entire life, don’t bring avoidable stuff like a cushion or bottles of conditioner. You’re not shifting to remote, all things are available there.

Language issue I just said ‘What’s up’

Better learn the local language of the country; else, you’ll see yourself as an alien in the town. It’s not certain that people overseas are familiar with the language you speak. Start being a parrot if you are really moving to some other country.

Oh God, why?

Maybe you’ll not get what you want Oh God, why?

No need to beat your head, if you don’t get what you had imagined. Just avoid presuming good, better and best things only. Remember, even a coin has two faces, then how can you presume your shift to be a first-class one only.

I cant, I just cant

Travel will make you learn I can’t, I just can’t

If you think travel changes you in a better way only, then are probably wrong as travel has its worst side too. You’ll get it when you make a shift to a different world from yours, where rules, people, culture and everything is poles apart. Not scaring you, just stop thinking the good and sparkling part only.

6.You’re going to miss your favourite food

This is what you call food?

This is what you call food?

It is pretty obvious that you’ll not savor those dishes which are the all time favorite for you. Especially if you’re an Indian and planning to shift to the west then, you got to bid adieu to those spicy dishes as west prefer less spice and minimal oil. *Sympathy*

7. You may find no good person

You’re from earth.. why not human then?

Strangers can be mean to you as you’re not from their community or society; they may treat you as a creature from other world, so better think again prior to shifting.
