Yashraj have been entertaining us with meaningful cinema and legendary romances, for over four decades now. With their child franchise, Y-fims, they made a rockstar entry in the world of Youtube series, with Man’s World and Bang Baaja Baaraat. The latest venture from the house is a very welcome initiative. Yashraj has launched the world’s first band of trans genders, called The 6 Pack Band. Featuring Sonu Nigam, the band’s first song is a fun and foot tapping take on Pharell William’s Happy. The unique voice takes you by surprise initially, but then you can’t help but croon along. The members of the band are Asha Jagtap, Bhavika Patil, Chandni Suvarnakar, Fida Khan, Komal Jagtap and Ravina Jagtap. So come forward, and say with them “Hum Hain Happy…KhulKeBajaoTaali” with this fun filled video.

We applaud this great attempt made by Y-Films, and hope that cool videos and people like these will definitely make a positive difference in our society. The third gender is rising, and will soon no longer be a part of lower economic strata. This is a small, but effective attempt at bringing them into the mainstream. We definitely will keep bajaoingtaaliin anticipation of the band’s next video.
