She was born on 21 September, 1980 and is popularly known by her nickname 'Bebo' while her sister, Karisma Kapoor is known by 'Lolo'.
She made her acting debut in the 2000 with the film 'Refugee', and since then she has received several awards, including six Filmfare Awards.
But, before that she was about to make her debut with the 2000 blockbuster 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' opposite Hrithik Roshan. After a few days of the shoot she walked out on the project.
