Dubai Creek Harbour – Unveiling of the Marina in December 2018

The vision of the rulers of Dubai has always been to create a global city that is great to live in, as well as visit. There are opportunities for work, a high standard of living and great options for leisure and entertainment here. The Dubai Creek Harbour is a new mega development that will offer new leisure and business opportunities for visitors and residents alike. The soon to be unveiled marina has everyone agog!

Dubai Creek Harbour

This is the 6 square km mega development that is a joint venture from Emaar and Dubai Holding. The location is ideal, close to some of the most upscale properties in the city and just 10 minutes from the airport. The development will feature parks, promenades, walk ways, bike routes, top end hotels, gardens, cultural attractions, bus routes and also a world class marina. The development is also going to be home to the Dubai Creek Tower, a structure that will be unveiled in 2020 and will be 100 mts taller than the Burj Khalifa.

State of the art marina

In December 2018, a state of the art marina will be unveiled at the Dubai Creek Harbour; one of the world's finest city harbour gateways. The water front destination will enjoy a premium location and great views.

Lifestyle destination

It will be close to many upscale residences and beautifully landscaped parklands. The area will also boast fine dining options and cafes, as well as options for entertainment. Some of the city’s most desirable addresses will be in this area and the development is likely to welcome its first residents into Dubai Creek Harbour early next year.

Natural attractions

Apart from the awe inspiring manmade attractions of the development, there is the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary close by, with its beautiful mangroves which attract migratory birds, such as the gorgeous pink flamingos.

The Dubai Creek Harbour Marina

Apart from the entertainment, leisure and residential facilities of the Dubai Creek Harbour, there will be the marina, a ¾ km long and ¼ km wide stretch which is billed as the Riviera of the Middle East. The oyster design harks back to the historic pearling days of Dubai. The marina will have 81 single and double berthing facilities. The dedicated Yacht Club will have a wide range of dining and shopping options.

Something for everyone

The promenade will have palm trees and street food vendors for visitors and will have resting areas made using sustainable materials for shade and protection from heat. There is to be an interactive fountain, world class art installations, and a viewing deck with circular walkways offering beautiful views of the city skyline. Vida Harbour point will be a 286 room hotel; which will throw open its doors in 2019.
