Sky Garden

The bridge is inspired by other similar structures which have been created in London and elsewhere.

A green oasis

It is said to be London’s highest garden; a green oasis with landscaped areas, observation deck and panoramic views. The sky garden in the UAE will connect the Deira side of the creek to Bur Dubai’s Al Seef region.

Promenades

Three new promenades have been approved to provide green spaces for cycling and walking. The first will be the Sheikh Zayed Road promenade and this will be located between the Financial Centre and Dubai World Trade Centre metro stations. The second will be a sea facing one at Jumeriah Beach Walk.

Umm Suqeim promenade

This will cover a 28,000 sq m area and will be located between Mall of the Emirates and Madinat Jumeirah.

Deira plaza

This will be another space for people to enjoy social engagement and leisure. There will be space for performances, events, hiking, walking and more. Such spaces for social interaction and family recreation are important for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of the people.

A new transit system

This futuristic new transit system will have a 8400 person capacity and will link Business Bay and Downtown Dubai. Transit systems that shorten or speed up commutes can significantly reduce worker stress and hence enhance wellbeing. More details and dates about the above projects will be announced in due course.
