Launched by two Emirati women, this food truck has amassed for itself a superb reputation for serving some of the freshest and finest beef burgers in the country. The beef served by the truck is 100 percent halal certified wagyu beef, which is free range and grass fed. Their fries and veggies are hot, fresh and crispy. Nothing is precooked or frozen. Salt is one of the most sought after food trucks in the Emirates. Try their lemonade, shakes and ice creams after a round of juicy burgers. We assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Salt has two trucks, one in Jumeriah beach Dubai, and the other in Umm Al Emarat Park Abu Dhabi.

Calle Tacos

For Emiratis having a penchant for Mexican food, look no further than Calle for mouth-watering tacos, quesadillas, tortillas and burritos. Each of these is served with your choice of protein, veggies and some amazing Mexican dips and sauces. Calle tacos roam the country. Casa Latina

Casa Latina is one of the newer food trucks, opened just a year back, serving delicious Latino cuisine with a focus on Venezuelan specialities.  The lovely neon green, sporty look that it dons makes it unique and very hard to miss. Try the Arepa which is a native speciality made with corn, black beans, cheese, pulled beef and sweet plantain. Their crunchy and delicious cheese sticks called Tequenos are to die for. The Casa Latina travels the entire country and can be seen at outdoor markets, concerts and festivals.

Big Smoke Burger

At Big Smoke Burger, the chefs take pride in serving you the best Canadian hamburgers, sourced from top quality producers and made with the best gourmet ingredients. Their menu comprises of beef, chicken and lamb delivered fresh daily and cooked in front of you. The burgers are minced and their fries are hand cut and cooked in healthy canola oil using real potatoes. This hipster trailer food truck is brightly decorated with animated characters and can be found at the last exit of Sheikh Zayed road on the way to Dubai. Their Poutine made from curd and fresh cheese is their Canadian speciality.

The Shebi

Always on the move, this truck can be kept track of on instagram. They serve yummy food that’s an eclectic combination of Indian and Lebanese. The truck is renowned for its pulled beef burger served with coleslaw made with sriracha mayonnaise.

Desert Chill

Desert chill gives you the much needed respite from the hot and humid weather of UAE by serving yummy ice creams. The venture has been started by Nathan and Dan Furlong and they have extended their service to parties, sports meets, corporate events to name a few. They are slightly different in the sense that they don’t serve soft cones but Algida ice creams. Think Cornetto and Magnum. Yum. Desert Chill is a fleet of vans roaming around the entire UAE. So if you email them and say,” We would like you to come to our place at this time”, you will have an exclusive van coming to your party and providing dessert treats. A novel concept indeed.

El Greco

Fancy some authentic Greek cuisine? Then head to El Greco food truck. Give your mouth a great vacation by trying their classic Donner sandwich. The Donner is wrapped in Pita bread and served with delicious chips and sauce. Their well grilled chicken with Tzatziki sauce is so delicious, we are dead sure you will be going for seconds.
