Dubai being a foodie’s paradise has seen several new restaurants mushrooming over the last few months. In case you are bored of the usual spots, fret not because there tonnes of new foodie spots that you must try out. Check out these new kids on the block.

Crab Market Dubai

Love crab? Then head to the 15th floor of Emirates Financial Towers with a killing view of the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai. The crabby menu has a Russian twist to it, lovingly given by none other than Vladimir Mukhin of the White Rabbit ranked at 23 of the world’s best restaurant. The food is worthy of a few Michelin stars and the novel ways in which the crab is presented and cooked will definitely leave you in awe.

Scalini

Fancy some Italian fine dining? Scalini will leave you mesmerised with its breathtakingly divine Italian fare. Located at the Four Seasons resort on Jumeirah beach, its diverse heritage is reflected in its fusion cuisine which has a taste of London and Italy. The décor will give you a sensory experience with clean holistic cuts, a showcased state of the art kitchen where you can see the chefs interacting with each other and a beautiful al fresco outdoor terrace.

Tabule

Roda Al Marooj’s latest acquisition to flaunt is, Tabule serving Arabic specialities in the downtown region of Dubai. Your favourite saj is prepared on request. There is a live station of tabboulleh and myriad varieties of cold mezze. The restaurant is set in the gardens of the hotel and it easily converts into an air conditioned tent in the hot summers. Enjoy its range of mixed drinks, cocktails and mocktails.

Carine

Golf aficionados can celebrate those new pars at Carine’s, the Emirates Golf Club’s newest speciality restaurant. Boasting of fresh Mediterranean cuisine, the food is just the panache you need after an arduous game of Golf. Izu Ani’s wife Carine who the restaurant is famously named after will leave you spell bound with her signature dishes of freshly made, chunky bread and her finger licking good apple and plum jam. A stellar menu for anyone wanting to visit the Emirates Golf club.

Morimoto Dubai

Competing for the top notch spot with Nobu, Japanese celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto has opened up his newest restaurant at the renaissance downtown hotel. When you enter his premises you are taken aback by the in your face, gargantuan fixtures like the lights or even the bonsais. For an innately Japanese experience and mind you this is not for the faint of heart because the menu is quite intimidating, there is a ten seater sushi counter where the Japanese troupe of chefs whip up their magic. Be prepared to be bowled over by the delectable sushi, tuna pizza and the Hamachi tacos.

Seaspice

Want to try your hand at the Miami food scene? Then Seaspice will enthral you by offering delectable three course brunches, lunches and dinners that will satisfy those taste buds like none other. Boasting of stunning American sea food preparations, it is a great place to visit on Jumeirah 1. The presentation of food is stylish and you can chill out over some fancy drinks and satiate the hunger pangs with wholesome and hygienic food.

La Petit Belge Business Bay

A safe haven for exotic Belgian food, it is one of the few unique restaurants serving authentic Belgian food. The Belgian hops here are to die for and the chefs at work combine and pair them with the most suitable drinks to tease and satiate your palate. Try their vast array of Belgian favourites like the assorted croquettes, the toast cannibal containing steak tartare, garlic cream mussels and the divine Belgian waffle cone for dessert. We approve!

Masti

Being the propounder of progressive Indian cuisine in North America from where Indian Chef Hari Nayak hails, he is now all set to open his newest venture called Masti right here in Dubai. It is a two floor restaurant on the La Mer site. Ready to launch the ‘small sharing plates’ idea, be ready to gift yourself food loaded with fantastic flavours and lots of love.
