What Is The #4wordstoryofmylife? Funny, Silly, Thought Provoking

They say brevity is the soul of wit. It is indeed. It is an art to be able to convey something concisely and pithily. A short, sharp riposte is so much more impactful than a long, meandering answer. So when the #4WordStoryOfMyLife hashtag started to trend on Twitter, there were some funny, silly and thought provoking thoughts expressed:

Because stupidity!

We certainly live and we learn. Or we don’t. People who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them… frequently with disastrous consequences.

Celebration of life

How lovely it is to be able to love who you are! Being comfortable in one's skin is a surprsingly rare commodity however.

Simple, unapologetic

There are those of us who are not at all good at math, but this is voilative of #4WordStoryOfMyLife hashtag and exceeds the word limit. As another tweet pointed out: “Learned, never USED algebra” – true story, I say!

Poli-tickle

Things always get political and Donald invariably gets roped in to be commented upon. But then, he is rather famous for dodging military service allegedly for something really trivial – reportedly a heel spur.

Is this fair?

Was the #4WordStoryOfMyLife hashtag supposed to be about one's own life or someone else’s?

Maybe Zuckerberg’s life?

The Cambridge Analytica story was bound to rear its ugly head… clearly telling other people’s life stories is permitted.

Confidence!

Some people used the hashtag to describe themselves in rather flattering terms. Good for them. But if this commentator thinks the old Wonder Woman with that exceedingly tacky suit is ‘badassy’, she really should take a look at Gal Gadot.

You think it’s going well…

…and then life happens! Maybe all this guy is saying is that you can arrange your life only up to a point; the rest is out of our hands.

Simple, uncomplicated

She likes to nap. So do most of us. Cats clearly have the right idea.

Great career!

If you can get the job!

We all have that friend/family member

They are all about the food! At breakfast they want to know what lunch is going to be; at lunch they’ve already placed a request for an evening snack and then a slightly more elaborate one for dinner.

Thankfully,

The answer to this tweet is, its Saturday! Yay!
