We did a series on the heroes of the Kargil War. As I published each story I got goosebumps everyday. I have spent the last month wondering what these soldiers were made of? Some of them withstood a hail of bullets and forget living, continued to fight and succeed in his mission. Some of them had bullets in their chest but didn’t go down. Instead started hand-to-hand combat, in which they won. Some of them went from mission to mission without stopping until death forced them to stop. We owe so much to these men and their families that it is almost too large to fathom. This video created by a team called Indianism on Facebook to celebrate #KargilVijayDiwas tells the story so well that I just had to share it. I hope you will all watch it and in your hearts send a salute to these brave souls.
