Eid al-Adha Holidays in the UAE – What Do You Plan to Do?

Eid al-Adha Holidays in the UAE were announced recently since the Zul Hijjah moon was spotted on Saturday August 11. It would seem that some lucky people may have as many as 6 days off! While some breaks begin from Tuesday, August 20 others begin on Wednesday, August 21. If you don’t already have plans, here are some ideas you can use:

Free parking, extended public transport

It is announced that motorists will not have to pay parking fees at public car parks (except for the multi-level parking terminals) in Dubai for the long weekend from Sunday August 19 till Friday, August 24. Metro, bus and ferry schedules have also been announced for the weekend and some facilities will have extended hours or operate round the clock to facilitate easier travel.
