Indians are very proud of their culture and they hold on to their customs, no matter which part of the world they may live in. All expats will probably agree that they have faced reactions that ranged from mild curiosity to extreme discrimination because of their beliefs. So when BA’s Loving India Back video hit the viral networks, viewers in India and Indians around the world were touched to the point of having tears in their eyes.

The story revolves around a BA cabin crew member Helena, and the beautiful, sophisticated, regal old lady from India travelling alone, after leaving behind her son. The beauty of this film lies in the fact that everyone who sees her will actually see their own mothers on the screen. The situation and events that lead to a tentative bond to spring up between this one off passenger and Helena is beautiful to watch. The follow up welcome, love and acceptance that Helena receives from the old lady and her family is the tear jerker.
