Finally! Finally, there is going to be a theme park based on Bollywood. Considering that Bollywood is very good at making larger than life movies, and has the biggest fan following around the world, we were wondering why no one had thought of doing this before.
Like the flagship park opened by Universal Studios in 1990, at Bollywood Parks fans can enjoy the thrills and excitement of the first ever amusement cum entertainment theme park inspired purely by Bollywood films and heroes, that is slated for a grand opening later this year.

So what is a Bollywood theme park?

Imagine walking into a world that transports you right into a Bollywood film. You can touch, feel, taste, dance and sing as if you were in the movie. Everywhere you turned there were gorgeous colours, bright lights, beautiful music and amazing performances.

Larger than life
They’ve created the world of Sholay in a 3D interactive ride where you will be armed with laser guns and will experience Rampur, and shooting at dacoits as well as Gabbar Singh.

Then there is the world of Champaner, Bhuwan’s village from Lagaan, which is all about Cricket. It will also have a carousel and a Ferris wheel.

Experience the Dabang world of Chulbul Pandey at Bollywood Parks, with the amazing stunt show that will come alive for fans of the loveable cop with shades of gray.

You can enter the Hall of Heroes and enjoy the simulated fun of flying with Krrish to get an aerial view of scenic parts of India, and you can enjoy a multi-sensory 4D experience which takes one into the heart of the digital world where G.One fights with Ra.One.
Kaal is finished
At Bollywood Parks, you can even try to make a movie yourself, or better see yourself in the movie doing stunts or romancing the heroine.
Live performances
They are bringing to life a Shahi fine dining experience called the Mughl-e-Azam and there will be live performances throughout the day at the Rajmahal Theatre, for which performers have already started practicing in Mumbai.
