2016 – The year sure has started on a roller coaster kind of note, and has given us as many happy chills as kill pills. We sure are super confused on how we feel about the start of the year, as some of the biggest juicy scoops come our way. While some make us cheery, few let us down, but every single one has been interesting without a doubt. Let us take a look at some shockers that the first month of the year has already got us.

The United Jihadi Council attacked Pathankot, one of our largest bases in the early hours just as the new year began. The incursion went on for a few days and caused India to lose many of our brave soldiers.

Well well well. The man certainly can give flutters to the heart, even at the good old age of 70. He tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Parveen Dusanj. Daughter Pooja Bedi tweeted some rude things comparing the new bride to an “evil stepmother”, which obviously did not go down too well with daddy dear, who publicly reprimanded her.

Also, Best Story to BajraniBhaijaan, over more deserving contenders like Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Titli, and Piku.

Well, while we would refrain to comment on the whole hall-a-boo around the “intolerance” debate, we do feel that Aamir truly did justice to the label as long as he wore it. While we have no doubts on Big B’s capability on the same, but we feel Aamir’s 10 years face of Incredible India will remain in peoples memories for a long time.

Two of the greatest actors departed to their heavenly abode. Alan Rickman a.k.a Professor Snape of the Harry Potter movies, lost his battle to cancer, and Rajesh Vivek, of the “Paaanch” TV ad fame, a gifted character role player and theatre artist, lost his life to a heart attack. Sad and devastated we were.
