It takes a lot of confidence to pull off a single color or similar tones on the street; and it can be a little daunting. Every time a monochrome outfit doesn’t work, you have to make it work to fit in the modern life. There are some common single color styles which were seen in NYFW A/W 2016. - Bold
This rich oxblood color is sure to add a wow factor to any outfit. If you choose to wear such a bold color, wear different textured materials. Like a satin skirt with a sweatshirt completing with statement jewellery and nude pumps.
- Black
Ever tried 100% black outfit? Black is sleek, chic and classy; plus it slims you down. And honestly, it doesn’t take much effort to pull off a black outfit.
- White
People are usually scared to wear all-white. It is true you need to be extra careful, but white looks hot. Pair it with a few tan coloured accessories to break the monotony.
- Grey
Grey is the new chic color in town. There is something about it that oozes sophistication. You can create various looks from a business suit to a casual chic look.
- Pastels
With summer coming in; you want to keep it cool. I love pastel, they are calm and soothing. Wear a sweatshirt with skirt and break the monotony with a different coloured pumps or flats.
- Red
Bright red will never go out of style. You really need not be daring and if you are confidant in pulling this off right – then why not! Keep the rest of the accessories black or white
- Black and White
The classic combination, if you don’t want to do solid black and white. Try black and white prints. They do equally well.
