Unlike small towns, infrastructure has developed by leaps and bounds in metro cities. Be it Mumbai, Gurgaon or Kolkata, anyone moving to a big city would be overwhelmed by the number of high rise buildings to see. They would also miss the open fields.
Neighbourhoods are pretty large
Small towns, as the name suggests, are small in size and scale. Compare this to metro cities, where neighbourhoods and areas are as big as small towns themselves. The sheer span an scope of tings will leave one astounded.
Traffic jams are agonizing
People living in small towns would never have experienced anything close to the sheer agony of being stuck in a traffic jam. Once they get over the initial horror, however, they’ll eventually get used to it.

Be it restaurants, malls, amusement parks, movie halls, street markets or monuments, people from small towns can totally relate to the pleasant surprise of seeing the sheer variety that big cities have to offer.
Everything is fast paced
Whether it involves going to work, visiting a market or just meeting a friend, everything in a big city happens at a fast pace. The leisure and slow paced life of small towns is nowhere in sight.
