A big blow to House Stark
While Game of Thrones is a show where no one is safe, we never saw this one coming. The Red Wedding was a gruesome event that shocked all the fans of GOT. The event showed a major destruction of the Starks during which Robb, Talisa and Catelyn Stark along with their bannermen were brutally killed.

This was definitely the most shocking of them all. A man, who we thought was the key in defeating the army of the undead, was killed by his fellow Nightwatch brothers. Though not to be too sad, there are speculations that he may be resurrected in the upcoming Season 6 of the show.

Gunned down in the court
The death of Will Gardner was a complete shocker. Who would have thought that the main lead of the show would be killed off and that too gunned down in the court? That was hard on fans.
